Basics of Nutrition and Optimal Health


I highly recommend doing a few basic good sense nutritional practices especially for those of you who are dealing with mild to serious health challenges.

 If you have bloating or digestive disorders follow the guidelines in “Dining in the Raw” and also try taking digestive enzymes, which you can get at your local health food store, with any food heated over 118 degrees (enzymes are destroyed above that temperature). Most digestive disorders are the result of a few basic controllable factors. A lack of enzymes produced by the stomach from eating a diet of acid forming foods (Alkaline and Acid Foods) or from eating too many cooked foods which are rendered enzymeless form cooking, eating foods you are allergic to, an imbalance of the intestinal flora (which can be improved with a high quality probiotic, can also be purchased at your local health food store), poor food combining (Food Combining) and stress, which can override everything.

You can order any of the above yourself or ask your local health food store to order for you. You will need to ask for a high quality, broad spectrum, multi-purpose enzyme for fats, proteins and enzymes. Please follow the directions on whichever enzyme supplement and probiotics you choose.

 If you have more serious colon or digestive related issues, (burping, cramping, diarrhea and constipation) you may get your health care practitioner to order a stool analysis kit from Great Smokies Lab. (800-522-4762). The results will tell you if you have amoebas, parasites, yeast, and to what level you have available digestive enzymes. They have a wonderful tech support and will culture out everything and give you and your health care practitioner medical and non-medical choices for your healing.


Minerals and Enzymes and the Acid – Alkaline balance are where it's at, nutritionally speaking


It has been said that all disease stems from a lack of two things - minerals and enzymes.

The statistics are not in our favor medically and monetarily speaking. The medical industry is a billion dollar a day plus industry and 90% of that is spent in the last 30 days of people's lives in intensive care. The Cell Saturation and Wellness Program is a total health and wellness approach, which guides you through a 3-Step wellness program. This program is recommended for anyone who wants to regain and/or maintain their good health. In the following sections we'll look at each step in more detail.

Experts believe 90% of all degenerative diseases come from controllable factors like lifestyle, stress, lack of exercise, poor food choices and drastically de-mineralized food. Many people are turning to the Cell Saturation and Wellness Program to address these challenges.

The Cell Saturation and Wellness Program –
A 3 Step Process


Step 1 – Rebuild with Body Balance

A process toward Cellular Saturation

On average, it takes 2-4 weeks to reach cellular saturation, though some people may take as long as 10 or 12 weeks if they are very depleted or in a highly toxic condition.

Begin with a 2 ounce serving of Body Balance on an empty stomach first thing in the morning for 4 days. Add 2 more ounces (4 ounces total) to your program on day 5. Continue increasing the amount you take by 2 ounces - staying at each dose for 4 days. Do this until your body “signals” you (see below). NOTE: You may divide the total amount into two or three times a day, first thing in the morning, mid-morning and/or early afternoon no later than 3:00 pm as some people have trouble sleeping if taken later than that. Body Balance is a “whole food supplement” and is in no way harmful to the body.

Rebuilding with Body Balance:

Day 1, 2, 3, 4 take 2 ounces of Body Balance

Day 5, 6, 7, 8, take 4 ounces of Body Balance

Day 9, 10, 11, 12 take 6 ounces of Body Balance

Day 13, 14, 15, 16 take 8 ounces of Body Balance

Day 17, 18, 19, 20 take 10 ounces of Body Balance

Day 21, 22, 23, 24 take 12 ounces of Body Balance …. And so on.

Body Signals your looking for:

Keep increasing by 2 ounces staying at each dose for 4 days until one of two things happens:

1. You begin to detox. A detox reaction can be anything the body knows how to do, which typically include headaches, fatigue, nausea, irritability, diarrhea, hives/rashes, body aches/pains, and even flu like symptoms. About 50% of people experience some type of detox.

2. You feel supercharged – like you drank too much coffee, and /or you might have trouble falling asleep at night.

Both of these are signals that indicate you have either reached detox or cellular saturation.

It's crucial to understand the difference between the target goal, cellular saturation, and detox.

Detox – Why and What to Expect

Why might the Recommended Wellness Program cause a detox reaction? When our body has the full complement of minerals, it can begin to do a “house cleaning” (detox), which slowly removes the insults (toxins). This build up of toxins is due to a lifetime of exposure to toxins such as eating processed foods high in sugar, salt and fat, consumption and inhalation of pollutants from food, water and air, taking medications and stress, all of which cause acid and toxic waste which gets stored in the fatty tissues in our bodies. This “house cleaning” sets the stage for the rebuilding and repairing and setting the body up right at the cellular, glandular, hormonal, enzymatic, lymphatic, circulatory, absorption, metabolic and elimination levels.

How to proceed if you experience a Mild Detox:

As mentioned above, about half of us will experience a detox symptom as we proceed toward cellular saturation. Again these symptoms can include: headaches, fatigue, nausea, irritability, diarrhea, hives/rashes, body aches/pains, and even flu like symptoms. If you experience any detox, simply skip a day of Body Balance altogether. Resume the next day with 2 ounces less then the serving which triggered the detox. Stay at the reduced level for 4-5 days and continue increasing as before until your body gives you the next indication, which is either more detox signs or starting to experience the supercharged feeling. If you experience another detox, skip a day, cut back for 4-5 days then begin increasing again. Continue this program until you reach the goal - Cellular Saturation .

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only about 50% of people will experience a detox.

Example of Rebuilding with Body Balance if you experienced a detox reaction:

Day 1, 2, 3, 4 take 2 ounces of Body Balance

Day 5, 6, 7, 8, take 4 ounces of Body Balance

Day 9, 10, 11, 12 take 6 ounces of Body Balance

Day 13 you take 8 ounces of Body Balance and experience a headache

Day 14 - take no Body Balance

Day, 15, 16, 17, 18 take 6 ounces of Body Balance – 2 ounces less then the amount that triggered detox

Day 19, 20, 21, 22 take 8 ounces of Body Balance

If you have no detox reaction, continue increasing as before.

Day 23, 24, 25, 26 take 10 ounces of Body Balance …. And so on.

If you do experience a detox, skip a day and continue at 2 ounces less then the amount that caused detox.

Body Balance can be a powerful detoxifier. This is because Body Balance contains all the essential, rare earth minerals that are missing from our food chain and therefore our bodies. Most bodies have never been fed these rare earth minerals before. They are essential for all health and are the reason why so many people report health benefits of all kinds while taking them.

How to proceed if you experience a more Severe Detox

A detox symptom indicates our body is trying to eliminate toxins faster then we can expel them through normal channels, kidney, colon, skin and breath. If you are feeling very uncomfortable detoxifying, there are several options. First, you can lower or temporarily eliminate the amount of Body Balance you are taking until your body stabilizes and is detox symptom free. You can also do a Life Force Herbal Body Wrap to help pull some of the toxins through your skin. Life Force has a video on how to do the Herbal Body Wrap. If you are experiencing a heavy detox and are uncomfortable we recommend to do the Herbal Body Wrap in stages every day or every few days. Day 1 begin with the legs only. If you stirred up more toxins and are experiencing detox symptoms (above) wait until you have stabilized (detox symptom free) before you continue. Day 2 (or a few days later), wrap the legs and the arms only. Day 3 (or a few days later), wrap only the torso. Day 4 (or a few days later), wrap the whole body. Continue doing so until you think you have removed enough toxins to be able to resume taking the Body Balance again to reach the goal of cellular saturation.

If you are still continuing to get detox symptoms you can also do the Life Force Colon Cleanse to absorb even more toxins. The Herbal Body Wrap and/or the Colon Cleanse will both help to expel and/or absorb excess toxins. Another way to expel toxins is to sweat them out through your skin via exercise, hot tub, steam or sauna. The skin, being the largest organ is a magnificent way to detox.

The Good News:

The good news is, if you feel badly in the beginning – be happy! You're ridding your body of toxins. It rarely lasts more than a few days and you can control how you feel by adjusting the amount of Body Balance, doing the Herbal Body Wrap and/or the Life Force Colon Cleanse.

Bottom line, you want to get rid of toxins, ALL OF THEM!

If you listen to your body and do it right, it's painless. You can control how fast your body detoxifies. If you do it slowly enough you won't feel a thing. You just need to pay attention and let your body tell you what it needs by watching how it reacts. That's the language of the body. It's always telling you something if you know how to listen.

Of course, being on a diet that supports the process will hugely accelerate this program by not adding more toxins to remove. On the website hollysdream.com you can find the Alkaline Diet. These will give you a great place to start to learn how to eat for your body and health and not just for your palette. You will be very surprised how delicious healthy food can be. It will eventually be what your body prefers.

We have seen tremendous results in people with a variety of ongoing health challenges who went through the 3-step Recommended Wellness Program. The improvements didn't happen overnight and some people went through major detoxification along the way.

The Goal of Step 1 - Cellular Saturation

When you feel supercharged or wired like a coffee jag or have difficulty falling asleep, CONGRATULATIONS, you're at Cellular Saturation. Please understand these signs (wired and difficulty sleeping) are totally different body signs than the detox signs. These are what you are ultimately working toward.

The journey to Cellular Saturation is a one-time process. Once you reach Cellular Saturation your mineral reserve has reached peak level. You must now continue taking Body Balance at the previous serving size (one serving under feeling wired or trouble sleeping) while the minerals (building blocks) to do their tasks. It is important to back down slowly as your body indicates. The indicating factors to decrease the amount you take are: too much energy and difficulty sleeping. The ideal daily serving is one less than the amount that brings on feeling wired or trouble sleeping. For most people the daily serving will ultimately level off to 4-8 ounces per hundred pounds of body weight.

As your body repairs itself, it will become more efficient and need less fuel thus, less Body Balance. You will once again experience feeling super charged and perhaps have difficulty sleeping. At this point, cut back 2 ounces on your Body Balance once again. You want to live at all times one serving under feeling wired or trouble sleeping.

The minerals will start to permeate your body and rebuild and repair all your systems at a cellular level, your glandular, hormonal, digestive, enzymatic, circulatory, lymphatic, metabolic, elimination systems and lots more. As your body continues to replenish and repair itself, it will begin to show positive healthy signs (see: Reports from taking Body Balance below). THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE WAITING FOR !! This is your body telling you that you have completed the cellular saturation process. When some of the positive signs of the rebuilding and repairing process have shown up, you are ready to move on to Step 2.

What you are ultimately looking for is a sense of wellbeing and energy all day that allows you to sleep deeply at night waking up refreshed.

Step 2 - Colon Cleanse

Having completed Step 1 - Cellular Saturation, of the Cell Saturation and Wellness Program, you are now ready to do the Colon Cleanse. This is perhaps the most important part of the Recommended Wellness Program. The colon is a much-ignored internal organ, yet keeping your colon healthy may just be the most important thing you ever do. Colon cancer is currently the #3 killer of Americans!

It is critical to understand how much illness is related to an improperly functioning colon. You might have heard, "Death begins in the Colon." It is truer then most people know. The good news is, people report amazing things improving if not alleviated completely after a full round of colon cleansing. These improved conditions have included headaches, allergies, asthma, fatigue and more.


Cleansing your colon is easy – Here's how

For the Colon Cleanse you'll need these items from Life Force:

Intestinal Tone

Activated Charcoal

Herbal Tabs

If you follow these directions, cleansing your colon can be interesting and even fun, and you will not need to re-arrange your life.

Start with the Intestinal Tone and Activated Charcoal in lidded jar or shaker. Add 6 ounces of water or diluted fruit juice (unfiltered organic apple juice is ideal). Mix it well by shaking QUICKLY and VIGOROUSLY. Then drink it down QUICKLY followed by 2 large glasses of water.

TIP: You may want to use a straw to drink it because the charcoal sinks to the bottom of the glass. Keep adding water as you drink it if it starts to thicken up while you are drinking it.

Next, simply take the Herbal Tabs with water. Start with one Herbal Tab twice a day. Some people need two tabs twice a day to get the job done. If you find your bowel movements are not satisfactory, you keep increasing your tabs dividing them up three times a day. If your movement becomes too "loose" then cut down on the amount of Herbal Tabs you take and increase the amount of Intestinal Tone. Every body is different so be ready to adjust the Herbal Tabs and the Intestinal Tone up or down as needed.

Do the complete Colon Cleanse two times a day, morning and evening. Don't worry, you will not need to stay near a bathroom, the process is very effective yet very gentle.

IMPORTANT NOTES: In general we recommend that you do the colon cleanse first thing in the morning and last thing at night, ideally 2 hours away from your food. Remember the nutrients from your food go into your blood stream and the colon cleanse stays in your GI tract. So give your food time to get digested. So an example is: if you are taking Body Balance first thing in the morning, wait 20 minutes for it to get absorbed and then do either your breakfast or the colon cleanse and then 2 hours later do the other one.

•  If you take medication, you must do the colon cleanse 2-3 hours before or after your meds. If you are on time release meds, then you may need to do the colon cleanse mid morning and late afternoon or dinner finished by 6, colon cleanse at 8 and meds before bed.

•  You must drink lots of water – 50% of body weight in ounces is a good target. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds drink at least 75 ounces of water (roughly just over 2 quarts).

True Health begins with Colon Health

Talking about stools is not anyone's favorite topic. I know it was not mine. But, if you don't understand how your colon works and what is normal it could drastically affect the outcome of your life. Stools tell you a lot about your colon health and overall health. If it is dark brown in color, sinks and very fowl smelling, that is not good. Don't feel badly, this is true for most people. The more compaction you have the darker the color, the faster it sinks. Compaction is not good. These indicators tell you it is time to cleanse your colon.

What you want to see is stool that is a light brown color which means it's full of bile. It should have a very mild odor and break up when you flush the toilet. Stools also should be the consistency of toothpaste and easy to pass. They should also float which means that your diet has plenty of fiber. Ideally you want to eliminate at least 2-4 times per day, preferably after each meal. One movement a day is considered constipated, less often than that is serious.

When you do the Colon Cleanse it might take a few days to get things moving. During your cleanse, you may notice some very dark unusual material being passed. This is VERY good. People can store 10 even 20 pounds of waste in their gut. Waste stored in your intestinal track releases poisons directly into your blood. It is critical to get this material out. People have even been known to pass buttons and safety pins that they swallowed as children while doing the colon cleanse.

For the most thorough cleansing, especially if you've never done one before, continue for a full 30 days. After that, we recommend cleansing once every 3 months for 4-7 days until you reach the above desired results.


Step 3 – Nourish with Holly's Shake

Once you have completed Steps 1 and 2, Cellular Saturation and the Colon Cleanse, you are now ready for Step-3. Continue using Body Balance at the level you reached after going through the Cell Saturation program, which is unique to your body. Now you're ready to add Holly's Shake Pack.
